Subsequent submission of information

On this page you will find information on how you can submit informations to the BDAE application team.

by paper mail

You can send us additional information and documents such as medical certificates by paper mail. You can use our PDF application documents as a template.

You can use our web upload to transfer your documents securely encrypted and quickly to our application team. 

Please select "Insurance application documents" in the first step and do not forget to enter the reference number of your application in the "Application number" field so that we can allocate the documents correctly.

For security reasons, we recommend that you use one of the other transmission methods mentioned for the transmission of particularly sensitive data.

E-mail attachments must not exceed 20 MB.

Submission of information via webupload

The webupload allows you to submit documents securely to the BDAE.

  • Select Insurance application documents in the first step.

  • Complete the fields on the form. You can find the application number/reference number in the e-mail confirmation or the application documents.

  • Then select the files you wish to transfer.
  • Confirm the data protection notice.
  • Click on the "Send files" button to submit

How to find your reference number

You have the following options to find out the reference number of your application:

At the end of the application line

The reference number of your application is displayed in the orange box at the end of the application section.

Reference number in PDF

At the end of the application section, you will receive the option to download a PDF with your application data. This PDF will also be sent to you by e-mail. You will find your reference number at the top of this PDF.

Reference number in e-mail

After having sent the application, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can find your reference number in the confirmation e-mail.
