A health insurance for visitors to Germany or short term travellers worldwide, with the premium computation based on the number of days spent in Germany.

This product is a travel insurance offering comprehensive cover for up to 365 days consecutively, whereas similar products usually only cover up to a maximum of six weeks per year.

It is very flexible, since its inception date may be any day of the month and its premium is calculated according to the number of days insured. This allows the insured person to only insure and to only pay for the exact length of stay. EXPAT VISIT is suitable for foreign guests visiting Germany or any other European country for up to 365 days (e.g. visiting relatives) and for German nationals travelling worldwide for up to 365 days.

Medical conditions which arose or existed prior to the insurance cover or during the waiting period
Treatments on the occasion of a professional activity abroad treatments
Treatments of affective disorders or mental diseases as well as for psychosomatic treatments (e.g. hypnosis, autogenic training) and psychotherapy
Diseases or accidents resulting from willful acts including suicide or attempted suicide and addiction, like alcohol, drugs etc.; and consequences of such diseases or accidents, as well as for detox and physical withdrawal
The purchase of adjuvants, like e.g. glasses, contact lenses, insoles, prostheses, etc.
