This product has been designed for employees of international companies. It replaces or enhances the compulsory daily sickness allowance of the German health care system offering worldwide cover of up to 150 Euro daily allowance during illness.

Not included in insurance cover

  • pre-existing conditions for non-expatriates

The exclusions for employess who fall under the legally defined category of  "expatriates“ are restricted to the following pre-existing conditions:   

  • HIV infections / AIDS and subsequent illnesses
  • Cancerous conditions and benign tumors requiring treatment within 5 years prior to the inception date
  • Heart conditions and coronary illnesses which existed 12 months prior to the inception date
