FAQ on Customer Portal
Below you will find some information on using the ‘My BDAE’ portal for insured persons. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, please contact our customer service.
General
As a BDAE-insured person, you can use our customer portal online anywhere and, for example, make use of the following services:
- Upload your insurance claims
- Edit your contract data for insurance cover
- Overview of your refunds and submitted insurance claims
- Change of your address and your account details
- Get in touch with our customer service
Please first check whether you may still be using access data from the old BDAE ‘Service Portal’. These can be recognised by the use of your ‘N number’ instead of your email address. If you have not yet created a user account for the current ‘My BDAE’ portal or the ‘My BDAE’ smartphone app, you can simply create a new account.
In rare cases, it is possible that the login to the insured person portal may not work for technical reasons. We recommend that you try again at a later date. In urgent cases, you can also submit your invoices and receipts for reimbursement via our web upload.
You can access the insurance portal at https://app.bdae.com. You can log in there or, if required, create a customer account via the ‘Sign up’ link. The access data is identical to that of the ‘My BDAE’ app.
Please note that the access data for the ‘old’ service portal (recognisable by the ‘N number’ as the user name) can no longer be used in the new customer portal.
In addition to access via the web browser, our customers can also use our smartphone app ‘My BDAE’.
This can be found both in the Google Play Store for Android smartphones and in the App Store for Apple smartphones.

Claims handling
No, if the case is completely created, no documents regarding this case can be uploaded. This is only possible within the current creation of the case.
So before closing, please check carefully that all data has been completely filled in and all the documents has been uploaded.
